YD/T 6853-2026 is the English-translated version of 基于零信任的电信网管理面安全技术要求.

YD/T 6853-2026 establishes a security functional architecture for the management plane of a telecom network based on zero trust. It specifies the security requirements for the functional modules added to the management plane: the security management center, the zero trust gateway, the security client and the security agent. It applies to telecom operators in the security construction and the operation and maintenance of the telecom network management plane.

Telecom operators, vendors of management system and security products, and security assessors can use it as a basis for design and review. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T) approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition. The English translation lets foreign suppliers and consultants read the zero trust architecture and the module requirements in full, without depending on the Chinese original.
