YD/T 6847-2026Quality of service requirements for secure access service edge (SASE) networks (English PDF)

YD/T 6847-2026 is the English-translated version of 基于安全访问服务边缘（SASE）网络服务质量要求.

YD/T 6847-2026 sets out requirements for the service quality of secure access service edge (SASE) networks. It gives an overview of SASE service quality and then specifies the service quality requirements themselves. It applies to SASE service providers and operators in the planning, design and construction of their SASE network architecture.

Providers and operators of SASE services, network designers, and customers who want to judge the quality of a SASE offer will find it relevant. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code shows, and was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition. The English translation allows foreign providers and procurement staff to read the quality requirements as they appear in the Chinese standard, without relying on summaries.
