YD/T 6845-2026 is the English-translated version of 基于安全访问服务边缘（SASE）网络关键技术指标.

YD/T 6845-2026 specifies the key technical indicators for networks based on secure access service edge (SASE). It sets out the framework of the key indicator system and then the technical indicators for the SASE service layer, the SASE orchestration and management layer, the SASE control layer and the SASE network layer. It applies to SASE service providers and operators in the planning, design and construction of a SASE network architecture.

Besides providers and operators, equipment vendors and network designers can use the indicator framework when they compare solutions or prepare specifications. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T) approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and replaces no earlier edition. The English translation makes the layered indicator system available to overseas suppliers and buyers of SASE services.
