Scope
YD/T 6832-2026 is the English-translated version of 网络安全态势感知 量化评估要求.
YD/T 6832-2026 sets out the requirements for the quantitative evaluation of cyber security situational awareness. Situational awareness here means building a picture of the security state of a network from collected security information, and the document defines what is expected when that state is expressed in measurable terms. It applies to business applications that quantify the overall cyber security posture of a network, and other departments concerned with the subject may also use it as a reference.
Operators and organizations that run situational awareness platforms, developers of such systems, and teams that need to score or compare the security posture of their networks will find it useful. It is a voluntary standard (the code carries the /T mark), approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition. The English translation lets non-Chinese readers work from the full requirements text.
