YD/T 6831-2026 is the English-translated version of 网络安全态势感知 数据处理要求.

The document describes the data processing procedure of network security situational awareness and the relationships among the data involved. It specifies the basic requirements for three kinds of data in that procedure: data after preprocessing, analysis result data and network security knowledge data. It applies to the data processing procedure of network security situational awareness products and systems.

The standard is voluntary, as the /T in its code shows. Developers of situational awareness products and systems, operators and test laboratories are the people who would use it. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard, written to be read together with the other documents of the situational awareness series, which cover the overall architecture and security incident detection.
