YD/T 6826-2026 describes an evaluation model for the cybersecurity protection capability of industrial enterprises that apply the industrial Internet, and gives the evaluation method and the key points to be evaluated. It applies when such an enterprise evaluates its own cybersecurity protection capability. The document is a method standard: it explains how the evaluation is organised and carried out, so that an enterprise can judge how well its networks and systems are protected.

The standard is voluntary (code with /T). Industrial enterprises that use the industrial Internet, their security managers and the consultants or assessment bodies that help them evaluate their protection will use it. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
