YD/T 6820-2026 specifies the overall architecture, system functional requirements, system performance requirements and system security requirements, among others, for the enterprise-side security monitoring and collaborative management system of the industrial Internet. This is the system that an industrial Internet enterprise runs to watch over its own network security and to coordinate its handling of security matters. The document guides industrial Internet enterprises in the planning, design and development of such a system.

The standard is voluntary (code with /T). Industrial Internet enterprises, system developers and integrators, and the test bodies that check these systems are the intended users. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard, and a companion document covers the interface of the same kind of system.
