YD/T 6815-2026 specifies technical requirements for authentication based on the mobile subscriber number and on the card application. For number-based authentication, the security management requirements cover the authentication flow, client security, authentication platform security and access by service providers. For card-application-based authentication, the requirements cover service security, data security, communication security and user card security. The document applies to the design, development, testing and implementation of business systems that use authentication based on the mobile subscriber number and the card application.

The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. Operators, service providers that connect to authentication platforms, application developers, card suppliers and test laboratories are its intended users. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
