Scope
YD/T 6807-2026 is the English-translated version of 5G核心网异网漫游安全防护及检测要求.
YD/T 6807-2026 specifies security protection requirements and testing requirements for roaming between different operators' 5G core networks. It covers technical requirements and test methods in the areas of service security, signalling security and core network security as they relate to inter-operator roaming. In plain terms, when a subscriber of one operator uses the 5G core network of another operator, the traffic and signalling cross a network boundary, and this document defines how that boundary is to be protected and how the protection is to be tested. It applies to the deployment and operation management of 5G core network roaming between two or more operators.
The standard is voluntary, as the /T in its code shows. Telecom operators, equipment vendors and test laboratories are the likely users. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
