YD/T 6799-2026 specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the satellite positioning capability of mobile application software. They mainly cover the functional requirements, performance requirements and test methods for BeiDou-only positioning, BeiDou-priority positioning and similar modes. It applies to the development of mobile application software that uses satellite positioning information to provide services.

Application developers, terminal makers and test laboratories can use it. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T). It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
