YD/T 6788-2026 specifies test methods for applications of 3D machine vision systems in the Industrial Internet. It applies to functional and performance testing of 3D machine vision systems used in Industrial Internet settings, and sets out what is to be tested and how the testing is to be carried out.

Vendors of 3D machine vision systems, system integrators, industrial users and test laboratories can use it to plan and run tests on such systems. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
