The document sets out the technical requirements for the management interface of network devices that support multi-rule lists. It applies to the design, research and development, testing and evaluation of traffic aggregation and distribution devices, deep packet inspection devices and their management interfaces in telecommunication networks and the internet.

It is used by manufacturers of these devices and of the related management systems, by telecommunication operators, and by test laboratories. It is a voluntary standard issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 15 April 2026 and effective from 1 August 2026. It is a new standard.
