This is Part 1 of the technical specifications for the identification coding of information and communication infrastructure, and it deals with communication power supply. It specifies the composition of the identification code for communication power equipment in the information and communication infrastructure field, the code structure, the coding rules for each part, and the corresponding code tables. It applies to building the identification coding system for communication power equipment and to the processing and exchange of communication power information data.

Users include telecommunication operators, equipment manufacturers, software developers and system integrators who manage power equipment data. YD/T 6754.1-2026 is a voluntary basic standard (YD/T), approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the China Communications Standards Association as the committee in charge. It was issued on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
