YD/T 6744-2026 is the English-translated version of 移动互联网+智能家居系统基于服务集标识的WLAN终端快速配网技术要求.

The document sets out the technical requirements for fast network provisioning of WLAN devices by means of the service set identification (SSID) in smart home systems. It covers the overall provisioning architecture, the interaction procedure, the general technical requirements and the interface requirements. It applies to networking terminals and application terminal devices that support SSID-based fast network access of wireless local area network smart terminals, and it guides the function design and development of provisioning in smart home systems.

It is intended for manufacturers of smart home gateways, routers and application terminals, software developers and system integrators working on mobile internet and smart home products. YD/T 6744-2026 is a voluntary industry standard (YD/T) approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the China Communications Standards Association as the committee in charge. It was issued on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
