YD/T 6726-2026 specifies the technical requirements for active measurement protocols used to check the quality of individual member links in a link aggregation group (LAG). It covers the extension of the one-way active measurement protocol, the two-way active measurement protocol and the simple two-way active measurement protocol for LAG member links. It applies to the data communications field, to guide the development and deployment of data exchange equipment, including routers and switches.

Router and switch vendors, network operators and test engineers responsible for link performance monitoring can use it. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T) of the communications sector, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition.
