YD/T 6683-2026 is the English-translated version of 移动互联网应用IPv6支持度评测指标与测试方法.

This standard specifies evaluation indicators for the degree of IPv6 support of mobile internet applications. The indicators include availability, domain name support and completion, and the standard gives the evaluation method that goes with each of them.

It applies to mobile internet applications that support IPv6, whether they run in an IPv6-only network environment or in a dual-stack environment with both IPv6 and IPv4. Application developers, internet service operators, testing bodies and regulators who check IPv6 readiness can use it. YD/T 6683-2026 is a voluntary standard approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
