YD/T 6677-2026 specifies the general technical requirements for network data analytics (NWDA) in a 5G mobile communication network, in its second phase, based on the 5G standalone (SA) architecture. The requirements cover the reference architecture, function description, procedure description, service description, interface function requirements and network element function requirements.

The document applies to the research, development and testing of the network data analytics feature of a 5G core network built on the SA architecture. Core network equipment vendors, mobile operators, software developers and test laboratories can use it when designing, building and verifying analytics functions. It is a voluntary standard approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 11 March 2026 and effective from 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
