YD/T 6666-2026 specifies the technical requirements for the 800Gbit/s Optical Transport Network (OTN) interface. It covers the line rate and frame structure of the 800Gbit/s flexible OTN (FlexO) interface, and the way 800Gbit/s Ethernet services are mapped and carried. The document applies to the development, testing and application of 800Gbit/s OTN equipment in short-reach inter-domain interconnection scenarios.

It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026.
