YD/T 6650-2026 describes typical 5G application scenarios and their technical requirements in industrial internet campuses. It covers two groups of scenarios: industrial production, which includes remote equipment control, product inspection, equipment information collection, virtual site and material transport; and campus public services, which include intelligent security, personnel behaviour monitoring, traffic management and energy management. The document applies to the design and deployment of 5G industrial internet applications in industrial internet campuses.

The standard is used by campus operators, 5G network and solution providers, equipment suppliers and system integrators who plan or implement these applications. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
