YD/T 4393.3-2026 is Part 3 of the series on indicator requirements and evaluation methods for virtual digital humans. It covers the appearance and performance indicator requirements of 3D digital humans whose rendering is done on the mobile terminal itself, on the device side and not in the cloud, and it also specifies the evaluation methods. The document applies as guidance for third-party testing organizations when they evaluate and accept 3D digital humans running on mobile terminals.

The standard is used by testing and evaluation bodies, by developers of mobile digital human applications and by buyers who need a common basis for acceptance. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
