YD/T 4392.3-2026 is Part 3 of the series on general capability requirements for artificial intelligence development platforms, and it deals with performance. It specifies the performance requirements for the platform's core stages, mainly data processing, model training and inference deployment. The document is meant to give organizations that use an artificial intelligence development platform a reference for the capability expected of it.

The standard is useful to platform developers and vendors, to organizations that select or operate such platforms, and to evaluators who assess platform performance. It is a voluntary standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 June 2026. It is a new standard.
