YD/T 3879-2021 — This standard specifies the format and content of the registration data of the registry, as well as the data processing flow, algorithm, technical interface, etc. of the registry to regularly backup the registration data to the third-party service provider, so that another registry can do it without the help of the former, and Rebuild the former's registration service in a timely manner with as little disruption to its users as possible.

Because the details of registry services provided by each registry are different, this standard provides an extensible mechanism to accommodate changes and extensions to registry services.

Based on this standard, the registry can implement the third-party escrow function of registration data and ensure the security and integrity of escrow data. The specification is designed to be independent of the content of the data being hosted, so it can be used for purposes other than domain name registration.
