YD/T 1475-2006 — This standard specifies the transfer rate of Gigabit Ethernet-based passive optical network (EPON) system reference model, business carrying capacity and performance indicators, business interface types, system functions and protocols, operation and maintenance management, and electrical equipment safety and other requirements, and EPON system PMD sublayer, RS sublayer and MPCP, OAM protocol detailed specifications.

EPON system interoperability between OLT and ONU requirements are not within the scope of this standard.
