Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting is scheduled.

This document is Part 2 of YC/T 599, "Technical Specification for Online Measuring Instruments in Cigarette Processing". YC/T 599 has already been issued.

The following sections were laid out.

--Part 1: General Provisions;

--Part 2: Belt Scale;

--Part 3: Temperature measuring instruments;

--Part 4: Flow Measuring Instruments Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents.

This document is under the jurisdiction of the Cigarette Subcommittee of the National Tobacco Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 144/SC 1).

Introduction

Modern cigarette manufacturing processes utilize numerous online metering instruments to monitor process parameters such as flow rate, temperature, moisture content, and pressure.

Testing is conducted, and the test data forms the basis for designing and adjusting production process parameters, implementing automated production control, and monitoring process quality. YC/T 599 was developed.

The "Technical Specification for Online Measuring Instruments in Cigarette Processing" is designed to guide enterprises in conducting comprehensive and systematic metrology using online measuring instruments.

Technical work. YC/T 599 is proposed to consist of five parts.

--Part 1: General Principles. The purpose is to propose general procedures and requirements for online measuring instrument operations, while also outlining key aspects...

Recommended list of line measuring instruments.

--Part 2: Belt Scales. The purpose is to provide technical guidelines for conducting metrological work using belt scales specifically designed for tobacco products.

method.

--Part 3: Temperature Measuring Instruments. The purpose is to provide a basis for conducting metrological work using temperature measuring instruments used online.

According to the technical guidelines and methods.

--Part 4: Flow Metering Instruments. The purpose is to provide a basis for conducting metering work on flow metering instruments used online.

According to the technical guidelines and methods.

method.

The proposed components of YC/T 599 are mainly designed to address prominent issues in current metrology work, in line with the development of online metrology technology.

With the development of the industry and the deepening research on cigarette processing, YC/T 599 will expand its scope and add more sections.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in YC/T 599.1 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

An automatic weighing instrument that continuously weighs bulk materials on a conveyor belt without interrupting its movement.

Note. In this document, the term "belt scale" is used to refer to continuously cumulative automatic weighing instruments (belt scales).

[Source. GB/T 7721-2017, 3.1.3, with modifications] 3.2 Constant feeding belt weighter A method that can pre-set the desired instantaneous load or material flow rate and achieve the desired conveying of bulk materials with the set value as the target.

A belt scale with dynamic adjustment of feed rate.

Note. Quantitative belt scales are also commonly referred to as "flow scales" or "controlled belt scales," and this document collectively refers to them as "quantitative belt scales." According to this definition, "blending" is not included.

"Scale" or "proportioning scale".

[Source. QB/T 5046-2017, 3.2, with modifications] 3.3 maximum flowrate Qmax the flow rate is derived from the maximum weighing capacity of the weighing module and the maximum speed of the belt.

[Source. GB/T 7721-2017, 3.3.6.1] 3.4 minimum flow rate Qmin If the flow rate is higher than this, the weighing result will meet the flow rate requirements of this document.
