3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Wraparound connection Use a special tool to tightly wrap the metal wire around the terminal with more than two corners, under a certain pulling force, the wire and the post are plastically deformed and the surface atomic layer is strongly combined to form an airtight area, which constitutes a reliable electrical connection.
Crimp crimping
By means of the control pressure, the plastic contact and the metal displacement of the crimping terminal and the wire contact surface form a reliable electrical connection.
Wetting
The molten solder flows freely on the metal surface and flares out to form an adhesion layer bonded to the metal.
Wetting angle Refers to the angle between the intersection of the metal surface and the molten solder interface and the surface of the molten solder at its intersection.
4 General requirements
4.1 The electrical assembly environment should be clean and tidy; temperature, humidity and cleanliness should meet the following requirements.
