YB/T 6526-2026 sets out technical requirements for the unmanned operation of stacker-reclaimers in the iron and steel industry. It covers the system architecture and the requirements for the equipment layer, communication layer, data layer and application layer. It applies as guidance for system design and construction of unmanned stacker-reclaimer operation in the iron and steel industry.

Steel plants and raw material yards, engineering and automation companies, and equipment and software suppliers can use it when planning, designing and building such systems. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code indicates. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 July 2026 and takes effect on 1 February 2027. It is a new standard.
