YB/T 6460-2026 is the English-translated version of 铁矿石 硅、钙、铝、镁、钛、锰、钒、磷、钾、钠、锌、铜、砷、铅和硫含量的测定 波长色散X射线荧光光谱法（压片法）.

YB/T 6460-2026 specifies a method for determining the content of silicon, calcium, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, manganese, vanadium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, copper, arsenic, lead and sulfur in iron ores by wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, using the pressed disc method. It applies to the determination of these elements in iron ores, iron concentrates, sintered ores and pellets.

Steel mills, mining and ore trading companies, port and inspection laboratories and independent testing bodies that analyse iron-bearing materials can use it. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved it; it was issued on 16 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 November 2026. It is a new standard.
