What this standard covers
This standard specifies the locomotive locks (hereinafter referred to as the town gate) the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, product labeling, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to diesel and electric locomotives used for internal partitions door locks (referred to as the inner door) and the locomotive communicating with the outside of the door locks (referred to as the outside door) the design, manufacture and acceptance. However, with the door within EMU may also refer to this standard.
