SY/T 0609-2016 is the English-translated version of 优质钢制对焊管件规范.

SY/T 0609-2016 — This standard specifies the basic requirements for material, design, specification, manufacturing inspection and marking of seamless and welded butt-welded pipe fittings for factory made carbon and low alloy steels.

This standard includes elbows, tees, pipe caps, piping systems, reducer fittings and welded and extended sections and transition sections in the factory. This standard applies to oil and gas pipelines with a nominal diameter of not more than DN1500 of the steel pipe fittings.

The steel pipe fittings of special size, shape and tolerance can be manufactured by the agreement between the supply and demand parties. When adopting the materials other than this standard, they shall comply with the corresponding material specification requirements.
