1 Scope
This part of SN/T 4743 specifies the quarantine requirements for horses participating in international equestrian events.
This section applies to the entry and exit quarantine of foreign horses participating in international equestrian events and the quarantine supervision during the competition.

3 Quarantine approval
Entry horses entering the country shall obtain the "People's Republic of China Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Permit" in advance.
4 Overseas pre-screening
According to the bilateral agreement signed between China and the exporting country or region or the "People's Republic of China Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Permit" Ex-situ pre-inspection, as required by SN/T 4743.4.
5 Entry site quarantine
5.1 Preliminary preparation work
5.1.1 Collect information on entry time, port of entry and horse passport of incoming horses.
5.1.2 The inspection and quarantine department shall set up a port inspection area at the port of entry. The inspection area shall have enclosed escape and escape facilities, and shall have temporary stables and emergency Drugs and equipment to cope with unexpected emergencies.
5.2 Entry inspection
At the time of inspection, the owner or inspection agent shall provide the following information to the port inspection and quarantine institution. Including "Incoming Goods Inspection Form" Phytosanitary License, quarantine certificate issued by the exporting country or region, horse passport, bill of lading, packing list and relevant certificates He filed.
5.3 On-site quarantine at the entry port
