This section is equivalent to the International Organization of grapes and wine (OIV) OIV-MA-AS2-04 "AshesWines" (AshofWines) and some modifications using the OIV-MA-AS2-05 "Alkalinity of Ash of Wine Tritrimetric Method). This part of the technical content and the two methods are basically the same, but taking into account the characteristics of our own standards and the Chinese expression of habits, OIV MA-AS2-05 method of individual content made a technical change, the main content of the amendment.

1 Scope

This part of SN/T 4675 specifies the determination of alkaline ash in wine.

3 Method summary

The ash is dissolved in a standard acid titration solution, the excess acid is titrated with a base standard titration solution, multiplied by the conversion factor Alkalinity for ash.

4 Reagents and materials

Unless otherwise specified, the reagents used are of analytical grade, test water GB/T 6682 provides a water.

4.1 Methyl Orange (C14H14N3SO3Na).

Hydrochloric acid (HCl).

4.3 sulfuric acid (H2SO4).

4.4 Sodium hydroxide (NaOH).

4.5 Hydrochloric acid standard titration solution (0.1000 mol/L) or sulfuric acid standard titration solution (0.0500 mol/L) Prepare according to GB/T 601 and calibration.

4.6 sodium hydroxide standard titration solution (0.1000mol/L) according to GB/T 601 preparation and calibration.

4.7 methyl orange indicator (0.1%). Weigh 0.1g methyl orange (4.1), dissolved in a small amount of water, all transferred to 100mL volumetric flask with Water to volume.

5 Instruments and equipment

5.1 constant temperature water bath.

5.2 Analysis of balance. Sense of 0.1mg.

5.3 hot plate.

5.4 Dryer (with desiccant inside).

5.5 platinum crucible or porcelain crucible.

5.6 muffle furnace.
