GB 25956-2010, the Energy Star program - requirements specifications for imaging equipment - conformity assessment standard (version 1.2), Hong Kong Voluntary energy Source Efficiency Labelling Scheme - multifunction office equipment (2010) define the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Multifunction device; MFD A commercial use of the image forming apparatus having a copy, print, scan, fax, or two or more functional office equipment.
Job status activemode Multi-function device connected to the power output and continue to produce or perform other key functions of state power.
Preset delay time defaultdelaytime Multifunction equipment factory set by the manufacturer so that the device can fulfill its main function of sleep time or off state.
Off offmode
Multifunction device is connected to the power grid, and the power switch is "off" state. Once the apparatus has been input excitation (eg. manual start Off or to equipment unit into the state of readiness of the clock timer), it will exit this state. If this state is due to the manual operation of the user Occurs, called the deactivated state; if this state automatically or by default (such as. a clock delay or set) occurs, call it is automatically turned off.
Readiness/low battery condition readymode/low-powermode Multifunction device after the power or end of the work, the energy consumption is lower than the state of working conditions energy consumption. Multifunction device from the standby state into the working conditions should not have an appreciable time delay. Equipment to meet operating conditions, not produce output, nor enter any state or sleep
