1 Scope

This section specifies the definition, technical requirements, inspection and appraisal, quality grade assessment and determination of inspection results of non-genuine slabs.

This section applies to the inspection and identification of non-genuine slabs and first-class surplus slabs.

2 Normative references

The provisions in the following documents become the provisions of this part by reference to this part of SN/T 1733. Quotations with dated , all subsequent amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this section, however, encouragement is achieved under this section the parties to the agreement study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For undated references, the latest edition applies to this section.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 702, GB 4223, YB/T 001, YB/T 002, YB/T 003, YB/T 004, YB/T 16, YB/T.2011, the following terms and definitions established by YB/T.2012 apply to this section.

Refers to the slabs specified in the specifications of the country of production or the contract of the trade contract (see Appendix A) for specifications, appearance, and quality.

Trade is used to call it "secondary slab secondarysteelslab", including extra- and non-quality slabs.

It means that some or all of the specifications, appearance, quality, etc. do not meet the requirements of the corresponding genuine standard, but the product still retains the original slab.

Refers to the specifications, appearance, quality, etc. of a single piece that meet the requirements of genuine slab standards, but the entire batch of goods exists in various grades, multiple specifications, and various materials.

A slab with characteristics such as a large difference in mass and single piece weight.

Refers to slab products such as scraps that have serious defects that cannot be used for their original purposes, or that can only be used for smelting and recycling.
