Introduction

"Import and Export Audio Video and Similar Electronic Equipment Inspection Regulations" is the basis for the work of import and export audio and video and similar electronic inspection.

Audiovisual and similar electronic equipment inspections serve as a guide and specification.

With the revision of China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the "Commodity Inspection Law," the import and export commodity inspection work model has undergone great changes.

In order to adapt to the situation and changes, the national inspection and quarantine authorities have established a system of inspection and quarantine standards.

This part belongs to the fourth layer of the inspection and quarantine standard system---personality standard, which is aimed at the characteristics of video game machines and audio and video teaching equipment.

It has set special requirements for the inspection of import and export video game machines and audio and video teaching equipment.

1 Scope

This section specifies the requirements, inspection and judgment of import and export video game machines and audio and video teaching equipment.

This section applies to home and similar video game consoles and audio and video teaching equipment designed to be powered by grid power or power equipment.

Prepared for import and export inspection.

Note. Video game consoles for commercial use are included in GB 4706.69.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions established by GB 8898-2001 and SN/T 0002 apply to this part of SN/T 1603.

According to the mandatory requirements of the national technical specifications, the import and export commodities shall be subject to the conformity assessment activities of sampling, inspection and inspection batch by batch or batch.
