This section instead of the industry standard SN/T 0736.3-1997 "Importers fertilizer test method Determination of particle size." this section 0736.3-1997 compared with SN/T , the main changes are as follows.

". Chemical analysis methods - Part 4 standard writing rules" provisions of this section according to the original --- GB/T 20001.4-2001 SN/T 0736.3-1997 choreography format normative changes and additions;

--- This part of the GB/T 20781-2006 in "Sample Preparation" part of the terms, increase the recommended sample scale;

1 Scope

This section provides a screening test method for particle size distribution and export of solid fertilizer.

This section applies to the determination by a nominal pore size in between 100µm ~ 5.6mm solid fertilizer particle size distribution.

4 Method summary

A certain amount of sample, by sieving them into different particle size, weighing calculate the mass fraction.

5 Instruments

5.1 balance, a sense of the amount of 0.01g.

5.2 stainless steel woven wire mesh sieve test. a nominal pore size. 100µm ~ 5.6mm, with a lid and chassis.

5.3 stainless steel sifter.

5.4 sieve shaker, simultaneous horizontal and vertical oscillation.

5.5 soft brush.

6 Sampling

Sampling by SN/T 0736.1 performed.

7 Preparation of the sample

The terms in GB/T 20781 specimens were prepared.

The sample and dividing the amount of time needed to test, the sample size should be close to the amount of the first two most particle sizes in Table 1 below.
