Foreword

This standard is based on the relevant inspection procedures and methods of the International Wool Textile Organization IWTO and the corresponding national standards and methods.

SN/T 0478-1995 "Import and Export Washing and Carbonization Hair Inspection Procedures" was revised.

The main changes in this standard compared with SN/T 0478-1995 are as follows.

--- Make some adjustments and revisions to the original standard in the preparation order. For example, the original color test of Appendix B is directly included in the inspection.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the average fiber diameter, length, color and appearance of the quality of the imported and exported washed wool and carbonized wool, and the quality of the project.

3 Terms and definitions
