What this standard covers
This standard specifies the spherical tank construction processes and construction methods, provides on-site welding process quality control, inspection and testing requirements and construction process and quality technical documentation requirements. This standard applies to the design pressure of not more than petrochemical 4 MPa, nominal volume of not less than 50 m3 of orange petal or hybrid with pillars supporting carbon steel, low temperature steel and low alloy steel welded tank construction, does not apply asked to do fatigue analysis tank construction.
