This standard specifies the gas chromatography-flame photometric method for the determination of trace carbonyl sulfide in industrial propylene and the gas chromatography-sulfur chemiluminescence method for the determination of trace sulfides in industrial ethylene and propylene. The gas chromatography-flame photometric method of this standard is applicable to the determination of (0.3��3.0) mL/m3 carbonyl sulfide in industrial propylene, and the gas chromatography-sulfur chemiluminescence method is applicable to the determination of (0.03��10.0) mL/m3 hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide, methanethiol, ethanethiol, dimethyl sulfide, and ethyl sulfide in industrial ethylene and propylene.
