This standard refers to the safety of the following appliances with rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase appliances and not exceeding 480V for other appliances. --- Commercial automatic ice machine with a daily output of more than 15kg and no more than.2000kg; --- Self-contained compression condensing unit or in the form of two units can be assembled into a single appliance (separate system) according to the manufacturer's instructions Electric commercial refrigeration ice machine.

This standard also applies to compression appliances that use flammable refrigerants. This standard also addresses the hazards common to such appliances, where applicable.

This standard does not cover the structure and operating characteristics of refrigeration appliances. This part is covered in the ISO standard. Note 1.

The following facts should be noted. --- Additional requirements may be required for appliances intended for use on vehicles, ships or aircraft; --- In many countries, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor Protection and the Ministry of Transport have additional requirements.

This standard does not apply to. ---Household refrigeration equipment (GB 4706.13); --- Built-in ice machine (GB 4706.13); --- Preparing appliances for use in open spaces; --- Appliances designed for industrial use; ---Equipment for use in special places, such as the presence of corrosive or explosive gases (dust, steam or gas); --- Prepare the battery as an appliance to achieve the cooling function power supply; --- The unit part of the remote condensing unit ice machine not provided in one-to-one type; ---Motor-compressor (IEC 60335-2-34); ---Commercial vending machine (GB 4706.72); ---Commercial ice cream machine (GB 4706.72); ---Commercial freezer (SB 10424).
