1 Foreword

QX/T 309-2017 was issued by China Meteorological Administration on 29 December 2017 and has been in force since 1 April 2018.

It replaces the earlier edition QX/T 309-2015.

2 Scope

This standard specifies the principles, requirements and measures for lightning safety management. This standard is applicable to inflammable and explosive construction projects and sites such as oil depots, gas storage, ammunition depots, chemical warehouses, fireworks, petrochemicals, etc., mining areas, tourist attractions or construction (construction) put into use in the lightning-prone area. Facilities such as facilities that need to be installed with lightning protection devices separately, and lightning protection safety management with high lightning risk but no lightning protection standard specifications and large-scale projects requiring special demonstration, other lightning protection safety management can be used as reference.
