QC/T 805-2008 is the English-translated version of 乘用车座椅用滑轨技术条件.
QC/T 805-2008 is the Chinese automotive industry standard for the seat slides, or seat rails, of passenger cars. It sets the technical requirements for the rails and the test methods and inspection rules that go with them, and it states what is required for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
The standard is written for the seat rails of M1 category vehicles, while rails for M2 and M3 category vehicles may follow it as a reference. GB 11551-2003 and GB 14167 are quoted. Issued on 16 June 2008, it has applied since 1 December 2008.
