1 Foreword
QC/T 533-1999 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 15 March 1999 and took effect the same day.
This standard is applicable to the drive axles of trucks with cargo capacity less than 8t (excluding 8t) and the corresponding off-road vehicles and buses, excluding the bench test method for axle shaft.
The QC/T prefix marks a recommended standard. It is not law in itself: it becomes binding when a contract names it, when a regulation or a mandatory standard refers to it, or when a producer declares conformity with it.
