QB/T 8211-2026 is a management standard that gives the specification for a quality traceability system for edible vegetable oil products. A traceability system lets a producer follow a product and its quality information through the stages of its life, and this document deals with such a system for edible vegetable oils. It concerns how the system is organised and run, not the oil itself.

It is intended for edible oil producers, refiners and packers that build or operate a traceability system, for quality and food safety managers, for suppliers of traceability software and services, and for assessment bodies, retailers and buyers who wish to judge such a system. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code indicates, and applies where companies, contracts or other rules adopt it. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved and issued it on 13 February 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new document and does not replace an earlier edition.
