QB/T 8202-2026 is the light industry standard for household and similar wet hard floor cleaners. These are floor cleaning appliances for hard floors that work with water or cleaning liquid, intended for the home and for similar everyday use. The document treats the appliance as a product and sets out the technical provisions that apply to it, so that makers, test bodies and buyers can refer to the same text.

The standard will be used by manufacturers and importers of floor cleaning appliances, by test laboratories and certification bodies that assess household appliances, by retailers and platforms that source such products, and by purchasers writing supply specifications. It is voluntary, as the /T in its code shows, and applies where a contract, a customer or another rule makes it relevant. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved and issued it on 13 February 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new document and does not replace an earlier edition.
