What this standard covers

This standard specifies the technical requirements for circulating fans, describes the corresponding test methods, specifies the inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and provides product classifications that facilitate technical regulations. This standard applies to the production, inspection and sales of circulating fans driven by AC or DC motors with a DC rated voltage not exceeding 48V, a single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V, other rated voltages not exceeding 480V, and a fan blade diameter not less than 150mm. This standard does not apply to circulating fans used under other special conditions (such as places where corrosive or explosive gases exist).
