This standard applies to the production, inspection and sales of dryers (such as electric warm air dryers, bedding dryers, shoe dryers, and drying boxes) with a rated voltage of less than 250V and used by non-professionals in homes, shops, schools and other similar places.

For other appliances that have the function of drying clothes and bedding by warm air and drying shoes by placing the air outlet inside the shoes, the detection of their drying functions is used as a reference.
