This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and labeling, packaging, storage, transportation and shelf life requirements for the hydrolysis of feather powder in feed ingredients. This standard is applicable to the feedstock hydrolyzed feather powder obtained by using fresh, non-degraded and non-polluted poultry feathers as raw materials, hydrolyzed (enzymatic hydrolysis, acid hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis, high temperature and high pressure hydrolysis), drying and pulverization.
