NB/T 47065.5-2018 is Part 5 of the Chinese energy industry series on vessel supports and deals with support lugs fitted with rigid rings. It gives the structural types and models and the technical requirements for selecting, designing, marking and manufacturing this kind of support.

It applies to vertical cylindrical vessels with a nominal diameter of not less than 600 mm and not more than 8000 mm, a design temperature between -20 °C and 200 °C, and a ratio of calculated height to vessel diameter of not more than 10; vessels that require fatigue analysis are outside it.

Materials and workmanship are referred to GB/T 700, GB/T 1591, GB/T 985.1, GB/T 1804, GB/T 50761 and NB/T 47041. Issued on 3 April 2018, it has applied since 1 July 2018.
