NB/T 35110-2018 is the Chinese energy industry code for the design of underground steel bifurcated pipes with crescent ribs at hydropower stations.

It applies to buried crescent-rib steel branch pipes in the water conveyance systems of grade 1, 2 and 3 hydropower stations, where the diameter of the main pipe is not greater than 9.0 m and the HD value of the steel branch pipe is not greater than 4500 m2.

Bifurcated pipes outside those limits are to be the subject of a special study and review. Steel plate, testing and welding standards dominate its references, among them GB/T 700, GB/T 713, GB/T 1591, GB/T 2970, GB/T 5313, GB/T 19189, GB/T 31946, YB/T 4137, GB 50199, GB 50766, NB/T 35021 and NB/T 35056. Issued on 3 April 2018, it has applied since 1 July 2018.
