NB/T 20425-2017 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on the methodology of internal flooding probabilistic safety assessment for nuclear power plants.

It specifies how a level 1 PSA for internal flooding is developed and sets out the analysis process and the points the analysis must settle.

It applies to the internal flooding level 1 PSA of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, and also to such an assessment for shutdown conditions once the features of those conditions have been taken into account and the appropriate corrections made; other reactor types may use it as a reference.

It quotes NB/T 20037.1 and NB/T 20037.3-2012. Issued on 10 February 2017, it has applied since 1 July 2017.
